The AllStar #2 Pro, was created to fill a need that we’ve heard from many of our customers looking for the perfect 6” practice and bullpen mound for kids between 8 and 12 years old. The original AllStar Mounds #2 is great, but some kids need extra room to stretch out their stride and reach their full potential. The AllStar Mounds #2 Pro is the answer!
This mound is 101” long, 66” wide, and 6” tall where the pitcher stands in front of the pitching rubber. From the pitching rubber to the front edge of the mound, the pitcher has 70” of total stride distance, so no need to hold back! The pitchers’ foot will land back on the mound at the end of their pitch. This mound has a thin edge all around, so it will lay almost even with the field and will not move around while the pitcher is going through his motion.
Allstar Mounds are manufactured in Dalton, Georgia with high quality fiberglass & composite materials. No wood or Styrofoam, so our mounds will stand strong no matter the season or weather, and will not curl up on the edges. This mound comes with green, clay, or tan Astroturf Brand 60 oz nylon turf and a 24”x 6” white pitching rubber. All you need to do is drop this mound on the field and you’re ready to play ball!
Allstar Mounds has a full 5-year warranty on the fiberglass mound. No warranty on the Astroturf due to the risk of leagues using steel cleats, which can reduce the turf’s lifespan.
