The SawStop Contractor Saw combined SawStop’s patented safety technology with tons of features that can be configured to meet your needs on the jobsite. As SawStop’s most configurable saw, it is truly versatile. This contractor saw combines mobility and stability with impressive performance, durability, and safety.
The heart of any SawStop Saw is the skin contact detection. The blade carries a small electrical signal that is continuously monitored by a digital signal processor. The signal changes when it comes in contact with skin since the human body is conductive. This triggers the quick release aluminum brake. A heavy-duty spring forces the brake into the teeth of the spinning blade, stopping it instantly.
The 36" Professional T-Glide Advance Rip Fence delivers accuracy, versatility, ease of use, and safety like no other rip fence on the market. It uses a Hi-Low aluminum face made for use in three positions: high (standard), low, and as an L-fence. A dovetailed-shaped groove allows you to mount feather boards, sacrificial fences, jigs, and other accessories.
The elevation system operates on a vertical slide. This unique design provides consistent and precise blade alignment along all elevation levels. Not only does this improve the accuracy of your cuts, it also reduces the risk of binding and kickback. Additionally, the Zero Clearance insert supports the wood along the cut and reduces tearout.
Dust collection is maximized on your SawStop Contractor Saw. Under-table shrouding funnels dust out of the saw. You can attach your contractor saw directly to a 4” dust collection tube or to SawStop’s Dust Collection Panel, which has both 2.5” and 4” ports for compatibility with a variety of dust collection systems. You can also upgrade to a Dust Collection Blade Guard and step up to SawStop’s advanced dust collection above the table.
With a 1.75hp motor, the SawStop Contractor Saw delivers the power you need in a compact package. The poly-v-ribbed belts transfer more power to the blade for better cuts with less vibration. Powder-coated steel resists rust and corrosion to ensure life-long reliability. This contractor saw is sturdy and solid with considerably more cast iron for reduced vibration.
